This is an iconic piece, widely recognized in Ghana and Nigeria. Originally a tomato purée box imported from the United States, it found its way to Jamestown in Accra, Ghana ,A community renowned for its exceptional artisans.

There, skilled craftsmen transformed the metal boxes into durable travel cases (TRUNKS) giving them a new purpose and identity.

These cases became essential items for secondary school students across Ghana and Nigeria, for many years hence the name "Grandfather"primarily used to store food, clothing, and educational materials.

Over time, the object evolved from simple packaging into a symbol of resilience, resourcefulness, and everyday ambition.

we at Habiton decided to reimagine this trunk into a morden day crossbody bag to pay homage to our founders Ghanaian roots and "something small for the boys "
